[ It's a few days after the new arrivals have settled in that a message pops up on the network from a user simply called 'evergarden'. Not very original, but no one who's spent more than a few minutes talking to Violet should be at all surprised. ]
Good morning.
Though I have had a few days to acquaint myself with the environment in which we've found ourselves, I have yet to officially introduce myself to the community at large. I have already given my name and occupation to a few of you in person, but thought that an open letter to the occupants of this station may be preferable in this situation.
My name is Violet Evergarden and I am an Auto Memoir Doll from Leiden, capital city of Leidenschaftlich. Prior to my arrival at the Station, I was returning from an assignment with a coworker of mine, Miss Iris Cannary. Unfortunately, it seems as though only I was taken from our train and Miss Iris was left behind.
Given that I have arrived alone, I am now the sole representative of the CH Postal Company. With that in mind, I would like to make it known that while I am unable to take on formal, contracted work I would be willing to offer my services to those in need of assistance.
Depending on my schedule I may be unable to attend to your request immediately. However, so long as it pertains to letter writing, I will fulfill any request that my customer should make of me.
