A wyvern, pegasus, or griffon in my world are by no means out of the ordinary, and I'd hardly call any of them supernatural per se. Wyverns and griffons in particular don't have innate magic to them, for instance. With wyverns, this is what separates them from Manaketes, as one could call Manaketes supernatural with their shape-changing abilities. And that's not even getting into divine dragons...
