I'm sure this request is no more odd than any other that's graced the network so far, but I'm in want of a sparring partner or two. If we're to end up in a Fissure more dangerous than the last, I would want to be able to stand on my own and it's easier to train alongside your comrades.

If anyone is interested, feel free to approach me at any time.

If anyone is also interested in learning how to cook without burning the kitchen down or ruining it, feel free to approach me as well. The smell of burning...whatever it may be lingers, and it's no trouble to cook for others if need be or lend some guidance.

How? You can't block what you can't see coming. No offense meant or anything, fighting just isn't something people with visual impairments do, for generally good reasons.

Anything that could knock you down is generally telegraphed in other ways. Vision is important, but there is more you can rely on than just that.

Actually. Do you think you could teach me? I've never heard anybody being able to fight when blinded so I don't think there's anybody else who even could show me.

I can certainly try. I don't believe it will be easy, but I would want you to be able to protect yourself in any way you can.

Being a non-combatant makes you no more of a burden than anyone else who doesn't know how to fight.

Though I agree it's better to know how to protect yourself in the face of danger. Whenever you're available, you know how to find me.
