I'm sure this request is no more odd than any other that's graced the network so far, but I'm in want of a sparring partner or two. If we're to end up in a Fissure more dangerous than the last, I would want to be able to stand on my own and it's easier to train alongside your comrades.

If anyone is interested, feel free to approach me at any time.

If anyone is also interested in learning how to cook without burning the kitchen down or ruining it, feel free to approach me as well. The smell of burning...whatever it may be lingers, and it's no trouble to cook for others if need be or lend some guidance.

[Oh, not at all. If someone's making a challenge like this she's going to trust that they can handle themselves.

Or get wrecked unceremoniously and hope they learn a lesson about overconfidence, but that's not the kind of demeanor Ignis is showing.]

Well, aren't you humble. Did you have a place in mind?

I'll see you there.

[She zooms over there right away, in fact.]

[That's as good a clue as any, but it's nice to double-check. She has had to issue corrections before.]

You're the one looking for some practice, right?

Just wanted to be sure. I'm not about to fight someone with no reason to, even just for practice.

Isn't there a saying, "surprise me"?

[That's a no.]

Then let's get started.

[Knives, especially knives of dubious origin, carry certain associations for Aya - and that is that there is magic at play that makes speed a lot less useful.

To that end she'll start by closing the distance, though the rush of wind ahead of her should make it fairly easy for Ignis to tell where she's coming from.]
