It's a stronger word than I usually use when I'm calm. It's also a milder word than I was thinking, but I do try to not be outright vulgar unless my mental filter slips.

I do at least have to keep my language habits fit for television until a little while after I get home. There's some information I plan to publicize, so it wouldn't do to get into the habit of using crude language.

[And oh boy can his language get vulgar when he's not minding it.]

It does if you want your message listened to. I rely a lot on my celebrity image and reputation for being mature for my age to get people to respect my opinion. I can't deny I've let professionalism infiltrate my personal life too much, but it does have its place. At least as long as I'm still in my current line of work.

I'd say I've seen evidence otherwise, but I doubt Sakamato ever even tries to mind his language for polite company. I do have a bad habit of defaulting to keeping to my public image whenever I'm not in complete private, so I guess I can't exactly counter with personal experience. Especially since I haven't even been on camera since I started loosening up about other things.

Sanzashi-san managing to keep his vocabulary clean when necessary is a much more compelling argument.

If I'm giving my uncensored opinion of this post, then, that would have to be 'hell fucking no'.

I mean

a lot of what he says is in sign language anyway but then his secretary is also his interpreter

plus you can totally swear with your hands
foolishjustice: (Strange isn't it?)

[personal profile] foolishjustice 2018-07-02 05:12 am (UTC)(link)
And I'm assuming his secretary would have things to say if he did so?

i mean I GUESS he's had like three or four in the fifteen billion years he and his partner had that practice

[it was a lot less than fifteen billion years, marla]

i dunno

whenever i was there it seemed pretty chill

not TOO chill, people still wore pants

but my dad always said that when he went from showbiz to working an office job like an average schmuck it was the most soul-crushing thing ever

so when he moved to a different region and had people working for him he was all

"fuck that, that was stupid"

Generally speaking, pants are the most important part of dressing professionally. Most people don't want to see their coworkers' undergarments.

I won't argue about office work being soul crushing, though. I tend to internally refer to the parts of my job that have me sitting at a desk with either a pen and forms or a word processor as 'Paperwork Hell'.

I mean

okay I guess a skirt is just a one legged pants

my dad called the office a place where hopes and dreams go to die and I think that's the reason his partner is the one who gets stuck with all the number crunchy business stuff while he does the talking to people and coming up with ideas stuff

or maybe he just sucks at math

I think he just sucks at math

honestly it's hard to imagine him doing a normal adult job like half the population b/c when I was a little kid I always imagined he left the house every day and just

idk where i'm going with this

it's weird to think about how someone you thought you knew might be more boring than you originally thought?
