6/19 Video, un: foxtales
[This video opens to... Well, someone's been putting paper on the walls again. It's actually the same someone, though this time the paper is poster-sized and one of his fiances is helping him. It also has a header.
Seemingly Harmless or Innocuous Things List
And a subheader, on the left-hand side, leaving enough space for another column on the right.
The Reaper's Game
There are definitely items written under the subheader, but they're a little hard to make out with the current way the video is being recorded. Akira is currently adding an item that looks like it might say 'Malls'?]
I want to open by saying putting anything on this list is entirely optional. Not everyone is going to be comfortable with the idea, for very understandable and obvious reasons. That's why, even though I'm aware of items for some people that were in other situations, I haven't put any of them down yet.
This is a list of things and actions that wouldn't necessarily be expected to be triggers for violent or dissociative trauma, but are due to extreme circumstances or differences between worlds.
[Akira looks up from what he's doing to look straight into the camera.] So, basically, this is for any and everyone... [He's looking at you, Akana.]
This station is small. There's a possibility that the city in the next Fissure will open up some alternative housing options, but for now, we all have to live with each other here. And unfortunately, some of the people with violent trauma triggers are very dangerous people.
I think we'd all prefer to avoid any accidents.
It... doesn't have to be just for things you're looking to outright avoid. I know some of us are now taking steps to work on our triggers, so you're free to put a note with yours to let people know you'd like help with it.
[Kurama glances at Akira with a small, soft smile.] That's true. Though obviously something to be discussed before trying.
[This is where Kurama's expression turns very hard and outright cold. It might come as a surprise to people that haven't seen him in fights or other severe situations and are just used to the gentle young man that tends the plants and cooks and is ridiculously in love.]
As for things that are not accidents or mutually agreed attempts to help? If I see, hear, or later discover proof of anyone using this information to deliberately and maliciously harm people with their traumas? They will have a new item for the list and it will be me.
[A little while later, a subtitle has been added under the main header of the list. It says 'Wordplay aside, all traumas are welcome here.']

The SHITlist
Starting Subheader: The Reaper's Game
Thursday nights
Tuesdays
The smell of cooking crab
Cigarettes
Hand laid over heart
Walking by steep drops
Sleep aids
Voting
Glass cylinders large enough to hold people
Wedding dresses
Floating orbs of water
Open-ended contracts
Malls
Memory loss
*Not innocuous but Goro has a phobia of large cats
no subject
Rejection or avoidance of someone because of their powers. Or of magic in general.
Abandonment.
Blood-covered things.
Things I don't remember doing. ...Which is why I'm not trying drugged sweets again. Sorry.
I was out early. So taking care of the others is more important.

Aiden's SHITlist + some non-innocuous things
Nope. ]
Aiden:
-fire
-rope, collars, etc. around someone's neck
-being called "freak"
-humanoids with animal-like ears and tail
-golden/yellowish eyes
-ghosts
no subject
Akira Kurusu (♀)
Sexual assault
Heavy drinking
Tall men who look like they can easily overpower someone smaller, especially drunk ones*
Being directly compared to another Akira Kurusu
* This is purely conditional and likely to go away the more I know and trust someone (except for the drunk part). Also kind of applies less if I'm using my Personas at the time since it's kind of a helplessness thing
additional things for Akira
There is a note with it, indicating that he's okay with someone offering to help with anything? ]
Fruit seeds, primarily anything that resembles apple seeds
Bitter scents - anything similar to cyanide
Obligatory smell checks
Urgent and/or unexpected large meetings
Enclosed spaces and/or feeling trapped
Incredibly large amounts of any red substance that resembles blood
Titles - any kind that comes with an assigned power
Bento
Alcohol/violently drunk behavior
Being directly compared to another Akira Kurusu

Major
- Healing Magic*
- Darkness (especially waking up in darkness or magic related to)
- Black blood or other bodily fluids
- Unexpected transformation (especially from human/human-passing to something else)
- Suppression of emotional response
* I am aware of the potential safety issues regarding this. Unless it is a matter of life or limb, or I am unconscious with unknown injuries, do not use any sort of supernatural or accelerated healing on me without explicit permission.
Less major
- Being mistaken for Ardyn in the long term, or repeatedly
- Golden/yellow eyes
- People identified as 'daemons' or any variation thereof
- Bloodborne disease
- Being suddenly awakened
As a note, I frequently fidget with small items or run my hands over things in conversation, including small weapons and magical items. While I'm willing to change out any particular item, it is a self-soothing and grounding behaviour, so please don't ask me to stop entirely.
Another note: I can be frequently found drawing and have quite a collection of sketches of people around the Station. This is primarily as an aid to my own memory for people and events, not as any sort of attempt to spy or incriminate anyone.

Memory loss
Being mistaken for Izunia (accidents expected, just make an attempt)
Chocolate cookies
Shapeshifters
Open water
Outer space
Vampires
Confined/enclosed areas
Being accused of shit I didn’t have any hand in
Also, I don’t take food I didn’t watch being made unless you’re one of a few specific people. Nothing personal.
Re: The SHITlist
Arianna Wakasa
Sacrificing people for the greater good
Explosions
Voids
Awakening someplace unfamiliar
'
[The apostrophe looks like it was probably the beginning of a letter like I, B, or F but she changed her mind before getting very far.]
no subject
"Look over here!" but only when said aloud
Obvious over/misuse of tomato paste or sauce, including ketchup
Flagrant disregard for warning signs or messages
Less innocuous things:
too many swords for one body
[She's surprised herself so much of what she's seen is upsetting in incredibly obvious ways.]
no subject
But perhaps there's a thing or two worth mentioning.]
Advocate Sonja Klee
The phrase, "go North," with minimal or absent context.
I am somewhat jumpy in direct
Ssunlight, though not enough that it is likely to cause problems if no one's playing silly b-----s.(Also I am aware that my dog appears to be part squid. Please do try not to shout when you see her, she's a nervous creature.)

Fire in places it shouldn't be.

Are things that are considered neither harmless nor innocuous also viable for the list? Because my only contribution would be... that.

This definitely isn't something I think we should be black and white on.

After taking a moment to reread the list, and after seeing the video is done, he moves over to very immediately wrap his arms around Kurama's waist. He's pressing his face against his fiance's shoulder, eyes closed. There... might be some pretty intense feelings of both something akin to dread and something akin to guilt.

I don't know if it's bad enough to count as "violent trauma" but...magic actually does make me a little nervous. I'm working on it, though. I know the sorcerers here aren't necessarily as crazy as the ones where I came from and probably won't try to set me on fire.

[Mai is now feeling intense guilt over one of the few things she actually made herself post up on the list.]

I genuinely don't take issue if he's a standard grade ass to Izunia. Izunia is a grown man with a support system and there's valid reasons on all sides in this for people feeling the way they do.
But as I said, we as a group can't afford certain lines being crossed. It's a bad precedent to set.
