Thought experiment!

Suppose there's a game you can play, where the prize is one wish, virtually unlimited. The thing you want the most out of life can be yours. To play the game, the game orchestrator gives you a special coin, and you flip it once. Heads: You get your wish. Tails: You pay a price.

Version 1: The price is your life.
Version 2: The price is the life of someone in your family.
Version 3: The price is the person who you care about the most.

Which versions would you play? What would you wish for?

This got dark and kinda personal, so feel free not to answer! Or to be vague about the specifics or what you're wishing for or whose life you're risking. It's just an icebreaker topic for a new social group, or whatever. Hi, I'm Luna, if you've seen a moth person around, I'm the moth.

For me, I'd play version 2, but probably not version 1, and I'm on the fence about version 3. The problem is that I'm just not 100% sure what I'd wish for yet.

If I was ever dumb enough to trust a wish granter again?

2. I haven't got any to lose, so I'm working the system.
