[Those who have seen Goro since the return from the mansion shouldn't be surprised by the slightly softer features when she appears on screen, though the less observant might not even notice.]

Just in case anyone from a version of Earth hasn't worked out how to convert the date here, it's getting close to Halloween. I wouldn't really know the first thing about organizing a costume party, but I did find a seasonal movie in the media room earlier.

[She holds her device slightly away to show a DVD case.]

If anyone's interested, maybe we could set it up in the theater this weekend and watch it together.

It'd be pretty useless decoy magic if I had to keep an eye on it at all times. I'm a one woman decoration crew too, watch this!

[Kyoko steps back, and the air around her shimmers as three more of her appear. One of them, notably not the original, pulls back a chair and sits in it.]

Not bad. Duplication abilities like that don't seem especially common, I don't suppose you know how it actually works?

They're basically hard light copies that run off my subconscious. I can even do other people if I know them well enough, figured that out with Lily earlier.

So sort of like lasers, without the heat? Light is one of my primary elements, but more in the sense of 'smiting things of evil' than literal photons, so I don't know much about light manipulating illusions.

Well, more like hard magic? It starts with an illusion of me, then my magic sort of hardens, and that's how Rosso Fantasma happens. My brand of Magical Girl's magic tends to be pretty instinctual.

So more like a visible area of telekinetic force? Or, since it runs off your subconscious, maybe more of a manifestation. Like a Persona, or Corvus Cantus...

I have no clue what either of- wait, I know the first one. I saw that Kurama guy using one a while ago. Still no clue what the second is.

Corvus Cantus is one of my alternate forms, but I can separate it from my body if I want to. Technically, though, it shouldn't be able to affect the part of the world living people see. It can only manifest here because of the way this world's magic works.

Huh. I think I've got something similar.

[A kimono rises up behind Kyoko, it's appearance not quite matching up with the rest of the world.]

This is Ophelia, she calls herself a "Doppel."

If she has her own personality, she's a little closer to a Persona than to Corvus Cantus.

[Static fills the screen, almost as if the video is glitching out, but then it solidifies into something with a human torso, covered in feathers, and the head and legs of a bird, with very human-like eyes. The eerie part, though, is that its wings are two dimensional, like stenciled patterns somehow made solid. Goro herself isn't on screen anymore, the camera focused on the bird creature instead...as it speaks, with her voice.]

It acts entirely on my will.

It's been a while since I've seen something like that that wasn't Ophelia. Should I be worried that your form making no sense is actually making me feel kinda nostalgic?

Maybe a little, but it's not like I don't have my own strange things that remind me of home.
