Just in case anyone from a version of Earth hasn't worked out how to convert the date here, it's getting close to Halloween. I wouldn't really know the first thing about organizing a costume party, but I did find a seasonal movie in the media room earlier.

If anyone's interested, maybe we could set it up in the theater this weekend and watch it together.

It was very seasonally appropriate, yes. My outfits on the first floor aside, everything I ended up wearing there is something I could imagine someone finding something similar at a costume store around Halloween.

It's not entirely about being spooky anymore. A lot of costumes are cute, or...ah...flirtatious. It's more about dressing up and doing something different.

It's a lot of fun. I never really had time to go to any Halloween parties back home, but it was always nice to be able to wear something unusual.

Halloween parties tend to run late, so I guess it would be possible to transition it to have an age limit after a certain time. Though, age of majority in my country is twenty, and I think one of the people organizing it should be able to say she doesn't want to be shooed out of the room partway through.

I think we can just trust the younger ones to be responsible when we say we're breaking out the booze, prolly time to get to bed, and let them apply their own standards?

I'm not sure we can necessarily trust them, but I'm willing to keep an eye on the room and make sure everybody who can't be trusted to that leaves.

Besides, I'd be more comfortable allowing suggestive costumes after the younger residents have gone to bed.

The suggestive ones kinda feel more fun to me, but uh. That might be the racial...Ness, of me talking? Kinda?

It might be. I don't have anything against them, even if I prefer a bit more modesty around strangers, but there are some people here who are a bit young for that sort of thing. And I don't want to be responsible for middle school aged children asking awkward questions.

On the other hand, the middle-schoolers are gonna find that stuff on their own probably so...

Still, it would be best not to get them too curious about things that could end with them needing to care for a child. They can learn about it in more controlled circumstances than asking random people at a Halloween party uncomfortable questions about skimpy clothing.

... Okay, point. My world... Never had a lot of actual education about that sorta thing. I'm just lucky my kind are barren unless we undertake some specific conditions, given my entire powerset's theoretically supposed to tie into using this-and-that for advantage.

Mine...varies by region, but my country in particular heavily judges those who have children outside of marriage, along with the children themselves. Since I was born that way myself, it's difficult for me to not think about it in contexts like this.

It's good to know you don't have to worry about it, though. I can imagine that sort of thing would be...very awkward for a succubus.

... I'm not gonna dwell on it, because there's so many implications and they're kinda majorly terrifying.

And yes, it's very awkward especially because there's at least four different races the resulting kid can be...
