How does a place make you who you are?

So maybe you've got two places that feel like home. I know how that goes. Galahd will always be home. Galahd made me what I am. Beliefs, culture, skills, family... all came from Galahd.

But I haven't been back there in 12 years. I have a home in Insomnia too, people I care about, principles I believe in. It doesn't make it me love my people less but Galahd isn't really home any more.
