As many of you know, I am the afternoon shift doctor at the medical bay, Doctor Angela Ziegler. I have recently acquired the ability to perform a physical scan with magic. It's non invasive - just a simple wave of the hand. Completely painless, no touching involved.

If you have the chance, please stop by the medical bay for a scan so that I can cross-check and update your charts. I will try to occupy as little of your time as possible.

Additionally, please heed Jetshard's warnings of heatstroke and exhaustion during the upcoming heatwave. Don't hesitate to come to the medical bay if you are suffering the effects of heat exhaustion. If you suspect you are suffering from heat stroke, come in immediately.

What in the world would you be in trouble for?

This scan is entirely optional, I don't want anyone feeling like they absolutely have to come in. It is simply to update your chart and allow me to test my new abilities.

For what it's worth, I aim to minimize discomfort in my patients and would be more than willing to explain exactly how it works and/or answer any questions if it would bring you peace of mind.

No it's okay, I wouldn't understand how it works even if it wasn't magic. I just sort of....don't like being looked at that closely? So I didn't go see Strange the first time they asked and then I got magic and now I'm the stupid kid sitting in the corner with the stupid kid hat.

I understand. I wouldn't call you "stupid" for being uncomfortable visiting a doctor, it's quite common really. I only request that you avoid putting off seeing us if you have severe injuries or feel particularly ill. I cannot support you endangering yourself, of course.

As long as you can learn to control the magic you've gained, I see no reason to chastise you simply for developing it.

Of course. I may need to ask you for a scan in the future if you are injured, but if you feel you've been in too recently for anything to have changed, I certainly won't force you to come in again.

And good luck training your magic! Do be careful if you're practicing outside, though. With the heat, overexertion is a real possibility.
