[Angela hesitates to press send. This is a commitment.]
As many of you know, I am the afternoon shift doctor at the medical bay, Doctor Angela Ziegler. I have recently acquired the ability to perform a physical scan with magic. It's non invasive - just a simple wave of the hand. Completely painless, no touching involved.
If you have the chance, please stop by the medical bay for a scan so that I can cross-check and update your charts. I will try to occupy as little of your time as possible.
Additionally, please heed Jetshard's warnings of heatstroke and exhaustion during the upcoming heatwave. Don't hesitate to come to the medical bay if you are suffering the effects of heat exhaustion. If you suspect you are suffering from heat stroke, come in immediately.
Thank you for your cooperation.

... Oh, right, context. My world's physics run at least partially on narrative convention and a series of known mechanics of varying levels of complication. Needless to say, this makes a lot of things seem really weird to people not from such worlds.
So, uh, sorry about that. On the way ove- actually, which room in the bay are you at? I can meet you there immediately if I know, as long as you, say, stay clear of the bed.

I am in the room closest to the door. I will be sure to stand clear of the bed.

[... The air over the bed appears to shimmer a bit, before Pidonus appears in a lying-down position a foot or two above the bed, floating for a second or two before she crashes down onto it rather roughtly.]
Gahdsfarget!
[The landing is obviously painful, though no actual damage ensues. Still, her attempt to arrive all cool and stylish has obviously failed. Badly.]
Need to practice that trick more, obviously...

Goodness, are you alright?

[Still, that definitely smarts.]
Teleporting's handy and all, but I have to know where I'm going - as in, I have to have seen it before. And I doubt it'll work in non-stabilized areas...

[In the interest of saving some time, Angela decides not to ask if it's a spatial warping or chronal manipulation technique. Given the way Pidonus appeared slightly off-target, she assumes spatial warping. She's read about that, even though she couldn't really wrap her mind around it at the time.]
Thank you for stopping by, I will try to be brief. Do you have any questions or concerns before we begin?

[Angela places a hand by Pidonus' shoulder and takes a cleansing breath. The scan itself is completely touch-free and Pidonus won't feel a thing, save for maybe a bit of heat coming from Angela's palm. What it reads back makes Angela arch an eyebrow, though.]
Remarkable. Your vital signs are all exactly in the center of their ideal ranges. Absolutely no scarring or signs of mended wounds, either. [She adds, as a joke:] It is as if your body is crafted by hand by a particularly picky perfectionist.

[She stumbles over her words awkwardly. The implication seems simply impossible, but. Well, different worlds. Sighing, Angela lets her hand drop.]
You mean to say you were actually hand created?
[As opposed to just growing this way? That's....extremely wild???]

On top of that, I have natural shapeshifting - so I take a default form that is basically my 'identity', and my subconscious optimizes that for sensuality value. I could take any form I want, but I default to this. Even that identity, though, is at least partially designed from my Queen's will, so...
Yeah. It's weird.

None the less, my warnings about heat stroke stand. No matter how well-formed, listen to your body's warnings.
[She fusses. It's her job.]

Testing it would be a really stupid idea.
[Pidonus nods. She's not that stupid. Usually.]
no subject
"Stupid" is perhaps a strong word, but I agree with the sentiment that it would be dangerous to attempt to figure out your limits without serious preparation and support.
Anyhow, you are free to go if you'd like. Unless you have any questions or concerns you'd like to bring up?

It's.. Weird realizing that most of the conditions that apply to me are mental in nature. Or obscure enough that I doubt I'm going to run into them while I'm here. Thankfully, honestly.
[Pidonus chooses to get up, choosing to leave by the door rather than the more dramatic method this time.]
