I know everyone's been filling this with questions lately and I'm sorry to add to it! But I'm still one of the newbies and I was just hoping for a few things that might help with settling in.

Does anyone have any spare furniture they're not using? Preferably something for a two-person room. I'm trying to make things a little cozier, since we're going to be here long term, but I don't have much to work with!

And it's a bit of a long shot, but do we have any way of printing off photos from phones or cameras? I've poked around but I've had no luck finding anything.

I'm glad they've got friends with them, then. Having someone keeping an eye out for them is nice, but it's better when you know they've got someone around their own age as a friend, too.

Ruu-chan's been making all sorts of new friends at her school, so I just hope they're keeping her company.

i think i heard someone say that time here doesn't move the same as time back home. it'd kind of suck on this end, but maybe she won't have to be lonely in the meantime, you know? does that help?

[ There's a bit of a pause before Yuuri responds. ]

It does and it doesn't. Does that make sense? It's good to know it'll all still be there waiting for me when I do go home. But in the meantime, I guess it's a little sad to think that no one will even know I'm here.

But if the trade off is that Ruu-chan doesn't have to worry and that she won't be missing me, it's one I'd make any day.

I guess you're right. I think that I mean is... even if none of us are actually alone here, it can still be a little lonely. Does that make sense?

I'm glad you've got your friend with you, though. How long has he been here?

ummmm he got here a month after me i think?? so a month? two months? it's kind of hard to keep track of time when the calendar's sort of different.

I'm glad you weren't on your own for long, then. Has he been settling in well?

i think so! he's quiet so it's hard to tell sometimes but i think he's having fun most of the time. even if









things are complicated sometimes here, it's better than where we last were so we make it work.

[ It feels a little... off to be talking to Prompto, when he thinks she's a stranger and Yuuri already knows so much. There's an uncomfortable sense of an imbalance, as if she'd read his diary and then gone to look him in the face the next day. ]

Complicated's definitely one word for it. I just keep telling myself it could be worse.

Do you think it snows here during winter? It's not like we've got anywhere else to go, but I'd hate to get snowed in.

it doesn't snow much near the ocean, does it? that's what i always heard.

[serrata]

I think it depends. We don't get much snow in Tokyo, but Otaru and Sapporo are pretty close to the ocean and they get a lot – there's even festivals for it, in Sapporo at least. So I'm not really sure what the conditions are.
