... It's good to know that we're mostly okay in spite of what we faced. But... I doubt that's the last time we're dealing with a monster with mind-controlling capabilities.

Not even sure what we can do about it, but it's... Worrying as hell. The number of ways the situation could've gone south even more, I barely even want to consider.

... Anyone have any ideas?

My Prevent Order seemed to help, though not to the extent we truly needed. If we could find a Grimoire Stone, I could pass that ability to others and we could provide everyone with at least some resistance.

Cloaks of Resistance would help if I could get those, too... Focusing on what we have, though, the only tool I had that could've helped was Inspire Courage, one of my bardic musics...

I suppose it's about time I admitted to my unique power.

I can break the chains on a person's heart, which should include removing any supernatural influences. Unfortunately, it also suppresses their restraint, leaving them acting without regard for even their own morality, safety, or anything outside of their raw desires and truest nature.

The risk of someone hurting others or putting themselves in danger in that state is high, so I only intend to use it like that as a last resort.

Most people in my family including myself have the power to nullify someone's abilities entirely, although it stops working as long as one's concentration is broken.

Potentially, that'd be good to use, depending on how it functions, its limits, et cetera.
