No, it's not. There might frequently be lessons woven into the narrative, but it's typically not hitting you in the face with it with every line out of someone's mouth, or every visual.

It depends on the writing. Sometimes it can still come across as heavy handed, but if it's written well it's more like attempting to make the likable characters into good role models.

Animation honestly isn't that different from books in that sense. I'm sure you've also heard of some bad fiction that makes people question the mental coherency of whoever wrote it.

A downside to the ease of spreading information in the modern era. It's easier for people to distribute their good ideas, but it's also easier for them to distribute their terrible ideas that should never see the light of day.

I do feel as if I lost some brain cells watching that.

I'll have to see if there are any animated movies I know are decent in there, so I can give you an example of things that actually have a right to be published.
