Hey, this is Pidonus Marasia. I'm trying to figure out my goals and motivations and such a bit while I'm here, because the more I'm reviewing the situation, the more likely it is that it's gonna be quite some time before we find my world and I can return to my Queen. So, I gotta come up with motivations for myself,
I guess? Other than, you know, the dungeons. Which have some very weird loot, to say the least...

Anyways! I'd kinda like to try and get some, well, minions for myself. People willing to let me influence their minds into long-term servitude. Key word there is willing, because as quite a few people here have emphasized, it'd be a mistake for me to just take people's wills with my seductive powers.

Of course, anyone who would voluntarily agree to being under my spell is someone with clear and very severe issues. Like, if your mindstate's bad enough that "under the maniplation of a Succubus" qualifies to your own perception as an improvement... I mean, whatever floats your boat I guess, but I'm pretty sure in some cities that would legally qualify you as 'kind of insane'.

So, uh... What does that leave? I genuinely don't know. I'm. Sorta new to the whole 'need to have my own motivations' thing, and the Chaotic and Evil subtypes unto themselves don't do a lot for giving me ideas.

Yes, well, I don't dabble in long-term mental effects, but I did have minions, once upon a time. I eventually found them more trouble than they were worth, to be honest, even before I put my days in the 'Evil subtype' behind me.

... Wait, you can leave subtypes behind??? Those are literally part of what defines your species, aren't they?

It's hard to say where I come from, honestly. My world isn't like yours, where the rules of existence are actually written. We are widely regarded as evil by nature, but it's difficult to tell how much of that is true, and how much is a mix of a harsh environment and Reikai propaganda.

...Though in all fairness, I did change species, in a manner of speaking. My current appearance is that of my human body, albeit that body was fully infused with my soul's demon energy.

It might be interesting to find out if you can defy your world's rules while in a place like this where so many realities that operate under different ones also apply.

Yeah, that sort of interaction between mechanics is... A thing that I've noticed,
here. The fact that my abilities still work imply the numbers still somehow exist, but others have different numbers and most don't know about them at all...

I'd imagine it gets complicated. I'm actually already juggling the 'mechanics' of three universes, personally, in addition to what I'm studying here...

Though I suppose that means I at least prove it's possible to do so.

Ah... Sorry, I forgot to take your original setting into consideration. America is a country in my world, and cartoons are... stories told with moving drawings.

There's a joke I've seen on occasion where a character can walk on thin air... right up until they notice they're walking on thin air. As soon as they notice, they fall.

Oh! Observational Inertia! That happens sometimes in my world; certain planes run on that logic.

Unfortunately, I can't really test it myself. I pay too much attention.

I get what you mean there. A high Intelligence score is a problem sometimes...

Less of a problem than a low one, I would think.

Just what things does your world rank with scores that way?

... I'm not sure how to answer that, because the scores and the components et cetera... Define most all of the things.

Interesting... A world where a person's ability can be completely defined by statistics...

Well, what are considered the 'core' scores, then?

Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma!

Obviously, I'm kinda weighted strongly towards the last one.

It does make sense given your nature. ...how does your world define the line between Intelligence and Wisdom?

It's something of an intangible so I'm curious as to how that's handled in a world where they're defined as numbers.

It's kinda unclear, but usually, Intelligence is book-knowledge and is associated with arcane magic, while Wisdom is more about ability to apply knowledge, often associated with divine magic.

I see... That's rather fascinating.

Yet also arbitrary. A fair number of the rules are like that if you pay too much attention, clearly chosen for efficiency.

But, that's what they are, ultimately.
