So it seems that the androids remembered my request from some months ago regarding tattoo equipment, and thus I suddenly find myself in possession of a large amount of such. Considering the mix of people here, I thought I'd put out word for if anyone is interested. I'm not experienced in this in particular, but I have a good amount of artistic skill and a very steady hand.

[Sometime after the message, Izunia can be found out on the deck, watching the sunset as is his usual habit. Unusually, though, he's not drawing or sipping at a warm drink against the chill.

Instead, he's turning a set of metal knuckles over in his hands - those who've seen his Royal Arms before will likely recognize the silver-with-blue-sheen material of the magical weapons, and even if they don't, the wing motif is as consistent as ever. He seems very much lost in thought, expression alternating between fondness and sadness, always a bit wistful.]

I'm not exactly lacking in weapons. One or two one-sided trades aren't going to hurt much.

I'm finally getting up to the point that I feel like I have a competently sized armory, so it's getting to be mostly sentiment at this point.

That scythe is still ridiculous, I'll have you know.

Mm...it's a little heavy for me as I am now, I can't even remember where I got it from.

I don't much care for sentiment when it comes to weapons, with...maybe one or two exceptions. I'm more concerned with firepower.

Probably the more practical view to take, but you also didn't know most of them. And I've lost all claim to practicality by making the Deck one of the ones I reach for first.

Though if you want more firepower -

'Bow of the General' - even among ours she was notable for being a warrior queen, not as much for her own fighting ability but because she kept the military running as a tight ship. Pioneered a lot of calvary techniques that were lost by Regis' era.

[I'm too lazy to come up with a name right now bite me.]

Hm...shame, really. A cavalry division might've grown into something impressive by then.

It was fairly impressive back then, but, well, cars happened and the chocobo became fairly neglected after that. You can hardly leave a chocobo in a garage for eight months alone and then pull it out and have it run as well as ever.

Oh, obviously it'd be less efficient.

I think Noctis did wind up inventing a couple of chocobo-back strikes, at least. Once you get them over the automatic spook response, a trained war chocobo is quite nasty.

[He shrugs.]

Either way, the bow's good for putting holes in people.
