So it seems that the androids remembered my request from some months ago regarding tattoo equipment, and thus I suddenly find myself in possession of a large amount of such. Considering the mix of people here, I thought I'd put out word for if anyone is interested. I'm not experienced in this in particular, but I have a good amount of artistic skill and a very steady hand.
[Sometime after the message, Izunia can be found out on the deck, watching the sunset as is his usual habit. Unusually, though, he's not drawing or sipping at a warm drink against the chill.
Instead, he's turning a set of metal knuckles over in his hands - those who've seen his Royal Arms before will likely recognize the silver-with-blue-sheen material of the magical weapons, and even if they don't, the wing motif is as consistent as ever. He seems very much lost in thought, expression alternating between fondness and sadness, always a bit wistful.]

Images on the body made by inserting ink under the skin with some variety of needle and allowing it to heal that way. The ink usually fades after some time, but it never entirely disappears - it's a permanent sort of marking on the body, like a scar.
They're usually used as a way to personalize one's body, though they're also occasionally used as identification or an indication of group membership. Otherwise, anything of personal significance that you want to keep forever, such as a memorial to someone you've lost or a pledge with yourself. Mine are all black, so they aren't the best example, since tattoos can come in any color of ink that's safe to put in your body.
[Attached to the message are two images - one of the tattoo on Izunia's chest, the one of cracks over his heart with crows flying out of it, and the other a section of his back-and-shoulder piece, a greatsword point-down over the upper part of his arm and chains hanging from the hilt on his shoulder down onto his back and out of frame.]

Astolfo, however, is not capable of such. So it's rather impressive that he goes looking for Izunia rather than immediately responding to the network post. Or maybe that's just the way Astolfo is, with finding him out on the deck being the first response.]
Hey, Master!
[The atmosphere of the scene goes completely unregistered, Astolfo busting in with all usual liveliness.]

[Slightly melancholy as he is, Izunia can always find a smile for Astolfo, and that's probably for the better and one of the reasons they work so very well as a unit.
He's still holding the knuckles like a relic of Great Import, though.]

He sees Izunia, out of the corner of his eye, and oh so casually stands at the other end of the deck from him. Because he's not keen on the idea of running away from Izunia any more than Ardyn is. It just tends to seem like the better option.
...He also seems content not to say anything, but, fuck it, Zazu's out here often enough:] Gonna have to close this off once it gets too cold. Or at least when it starts snowing.

Or put out some kind of heater. I'm sure there's some magic that will do the job.

[But from the way Izunia barely even drags his gaze away from the knuckles, it's clear they're Special. Because how often does he give Ardyn any less than the majority of his attention?]
