Hello, everyone! My apologies for not introducing myself sooner. My name is Strange, and I serve as the station's medical officer.

[This, presumably, would explain why they were RATHER BUSY in the aftermath of the Fissure expedition. Cough, cough.]

And on that note, I'd like it if everyone could stop by the medical lab for a moment or two, when you have the chance. I just want to do a check to ensure that no one's suffering any ill effects from the Fissure. There will be nothing invasive or nasty, I promise.

I'd also like to speak to Noctis, if you have time available.

Looks like mostly nerve and muscle damage - a bit of bone scarring and some off-balance muscle distribution as a result. And of course dermal scars, but I'm less concerned about the cosmetic.

... Yeah, sounds about right. Like I said, it doesn't bother me too much unless I'm doing a lot of running or jumping around.

I might be able to give you some magical therapy for the nerve damage, if you're interested, though that probably won't do much for the way you walk. That's the sort of thing that gets ingrained in, when you've had the injury so long.

I mean... if it's not too much trouble. I don't want to take up your time and energy if there are others who need it more than I do.

It's no trouble at all. There's only one other person who needs any kind of long-term care - well, and I expect our gull-jumping friend will likely do something similarly foolish in the future, but I'm not entirely capable of handling that myself.

[There's a slight embarrassment to that comment, under the bedside manner.]

So most of my medical work right now is on check-ups after the expeditions and just keeping an eye on things. I've been helping my siblings on their own projects a bit, but mostly my skills aren't much good for that.

Alright. If it's no problem... sure. It'd be nice to walk like a normal person.

Oh, your ancestor was already in - I was looking for light element magic specifically, due to the leaning of the Fissure, so I was understandably concerned about his results.

Normally I keep most of that confidential, but I don't think "common knowledge within a family line" counts as a breach of that.
