Hello, everyone! My apologies for not introducing myself sooner. My name is Strange, and I serve as the station's medical officer.

[This, presumably, would explain why they were RATHER BUSY in the aftermath of the Fissure expedition. Cough, cough.]

And on that note, I'd like it if everyone could stop by the medical lab for a moment or two, when you have the chance. I just want to do a check to ensure that no one's suffering any ill effects from the Fissure. There will be nothing invasive or nasty, I promise.

I'd also like to speak to Noctis, if you have time available.

[As Stone is not really fond of the communication devices-- they don't work well with his people's rather complicated written language, and he's suspicious of too much strange technology at once anyway-- he doesn't bother replying. He just comes down to the lab, as requested.

He peers in warily. This place, too, is full of suspicious technology. He likes herbs and mentor healing, okay. Those make sense.]

So what is this check you're doing?

[Lucky for Stone, the only potentially-suspicious technology he has to interact with today is Strange themselves.]

Mostly just checking for any magical interference from the Fissure.

I should warn you in advance, I'm not actually human. The lack of vital signs is perfectly normal.

Are you naturally aligned with light magic? That was one of the major influences on the Fissure, so I'm a bit concerned.

A small magical scan to check for any abnormalities - primarily in regard to stray bits of magic from the Fissure, but also a basic check of vital signs such as heart rate and blood pressure.

[Jetshard doesn't exactly seek Strange out in response to their request, but she's been spending a few hours each evening hanging around the medbay anyway so she's certainly not avoiding them either. If they want a moment of her time, they almost definitely know where to find her by now.]

[Yeah, they just kind of work in proximity now - which means that Jetshard has probably gotten some idea that Strange is doing checkovers just from the fact that the medical bay is hopping with people in comparison.]
