Hi, I'm Bai Lin. I have a question. I've got that most of us are from different worlds. It's weird, but any time I talk to someone it becomes more and more obvious.

But I'm noticing a trend from talking to you all.

How many people here DON'T come from places where a nuclear war destroyed most of the world's population before you were born?

Alright. They're the dominant species apart from humans in my world. The only creatures that most people here apparently think of as "normal" are certain fish and bugs. Most of them have powers beyond what normal humans can achieve, and control over certain elements.

The Legendaries go beyond that, having control over certain domains of the natural world. Storms, the growth of plants, even the flow of life and death...normally, when slain, they regenerate eventually. And others members of their pantheon can pick up the slack. The God-Hunters disrupted their regeneration and killed multiple Legendaries, leaving many holes in the workings of the world.

Why would they do that? It sounds like it would cause a lot of problems.

To prove themselves superior to the gods. Of course, it turned out they had their own Legendary backing them after all-Missingno. [He says the name like a curse.]

So it really just ended up being them trying to prove their god was the best!? What a bunch of hypocrits!

Precisely. And in the end, we defeated it, no matter what it threw at us.

[Lin decides not to share that she once kicked a god in the balls.]

What about the dead Legendaries? Did they come back?

Some of them did. There were plenty of researchers figuring out how to restart their cycles of reincarnation, and it turned out that part of the reason they weren't working right was because of the God-Hunters' patron. So now that it's gone for good, the others might start returning as well.

I wish I could help, but research and study aren't really my strong points.

Also we're trapped on another world surrounded by weird space fissures.
